ECAid stands for Engineering and Computer Science Association Charity Organization.

ECAid is a non-profit branch of the ECA that raises money for a charity of choice by organizing events aimed at engineering students. The goal of the ECAid is to promote social awareness and responsibility within the ENCS community, raise money, and encourage commnity involvement. Past events include the Frosh Professor Dunk Tank, $1 beer sales at Reggie's during Lizard Lounge events, 50/50 Raffles, Charity Poker Nights, Food Drives, contests and more.

ECAid was founded in 2007 to increase charity and community involvement compared to other faculties and engineering schools across Canada.

We are always looking for ideas for events from students, and we always welcome volunteers. If you are interested in helping, e-mail sports@ecaconcordia.ca.

In 2009, the ECAid donated $20,000 to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation and sponsored a miracle hour during their annual radiothon which was aired on Virgin 96, Chom 97.7, and CJAD 800 AM.
