The ECA is looking for candidates for the position of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering departmental representative for the academic year 2010-2011.
The key functions of the MIE Rep include, but are
not limited to:
- To be a point of contact for students in Mechanical or Industrial engineering.
- To represent the association at all meetings related to their department.
- To sit on the ECSCSL selection committee.
- To sit on the ENCS Equipment Fund Committee.
We are looking for a Mechanical or Industrial undergraduate student taking classes in the Fall 2010 and Winter 2011, who is:
- Committed and willing to dedicate the time to attend departmental meetings and bi-weekly council meetings.
- Proactive, ready to go the extra mile.
- Friendly
The candidate is expected to have some knowledge of the MIE department's curriculum. Previous involvement with the ECA is recommended. Interested candidates are to contact Raymond Taza, President at

Candidates are also expected to present themselves at the June 1st council meeting which will take place in the B-Annex at 6 PM. The position may be appointed at this council meeting.
